Delo critical large amounted of wasted food

Ljubljana, 7 August - The newspaper Delo comments on the amount of food wasted by Slovenians in its commentary on Tuesday. Last year, 152,000 tonnes of food went to waste, nearly half of it in households, while a large number of Slovenians go hungry. The paper calls for more respect for food, as this would help mitigate food poverty.
