First victims of Fascism in Europe remembered
Trieste, 9 September - An annual ceremony commemorated on Sunday three Slovenian and a Croatian anti-Fascist killed by Italian soldiers 88 years ago near the village of Basovizza above Trieste. The four now referred to as the Basovizza victims are considered the first victims of Fascism in Europe.
