Public sector wage bill up 5.1% in 2017 y/y

Ljubljana, 12 September - The gross pay bill in the public sector increased by 5.1% or EUR 180.3m in 2017 over the year before, according to a government report. The number of public sector employees went up by 2.4%, while the average pay was 3.35% higher in 2017 year-on-year.
