Govt dismisses police commissioner, appoints Bobnar acting head
Ljubljana, 4 October - The government dismissed on Thursday Police Commissioner Simon Velički in a move proposed by new Interior Minister Boštjan Poklukar, appointing his deputy Tatjana Bobnar acting commissioner. Bobnar has become the first woman at the helm of the Slovenian police force.
