Soldiers' union protests against reduction of planned pay rise

Ljubljana, 4 October - The Trade Union of Slovenian Soldiers called on Chief of the General Staff, General Major Alan Geder not to change his June decision on a 19% increase in soldiers' salaries. The union worries that the Armed Forces may face a "collapse" due to poor relations within the forces and an increase of troops quitting the forces.
