Caution as public sector pay talks start

Ljubljana, 19 October - The government and public sector trade unions held the first round of negotiations on Friday aimed at averting a series of strikes that several unions are planning for December as they seek higher pay and benefits. Both sides were cautious after the talks, though mindful of the need to make progress.
