Work starts on Maribor-Šentilj railway upgrade
Maribor, 26 October - Work on the Maribor-Šentilj railway upgrade will begin in earnest on Friday as the rail link between Maribor and the border with Austria in the north-east is closed. The closure will be in effect until 15 December as contractors work overtime to upgrade the existing rail track.
