Gas production company mulling legal action against Slovenia

Ljubljana/London, 31 October - The UK-based Ascent Resources has said it might take Slovenia to "the EU courts" over a permit award delay. This comes after Environment Minister Jure Leben ordered an internal oversight at the Environment Agency into proceedings in which Ascent Resources had acquired permits to produce gas near Petišovci in northeast Slovenia.
