Human ties key to lasting peace, president says at WWI ceremony

Ljubljana, 9 November - The stronger the links among people and nations, the better the chances for lasting peace, President Borut Pahor said in his keynote to the main national ceremony marking 100 years since the end of World War I. He also said that this point in history was "the tangible start of formation of the Slovenian nation and state".
