Večer poll indicates newcomer will win in second round

Maribor, 12 November - Maribor, Slovenia's second biggest city, will not get a mayor in the first round of local elections on Sunday, a poll published by the newspaper Večer shows. The figures suggest that a political newcomer is most likely to win. While his closest rival is a former mayor, the incumbent is not likely to make it to second round.
