Majority in parliament opposed to idea of minimum hourly rate

Ljubljana, 13 November - The parliamentary Labour Committee on Tuesday voted down the opposition Democratic Party's (SDS) proposal to task the government to produce an analysis of a minimum hourly wage as an alternative to the statutory minimum wage. One of the issues raised was that such a model could increase precarious employment.
