Unions urge new army chief to help improve soldier status

Ljubljana, 27 November - The two trade unions representing employees in the Slovenian Armed Forces hailed the appointment of Major General Alenka Ermenc as the new chief of the general staff on Tuesday but they expect her to engage in tackling soldiers' status, and securing their employment after the age of 45.
