EU Court of Justice finds Slovenia failed to close 21 waste sites

Luxembourg, 28 November - The EU Court of Justice found on Wednesday that Slovenia has failed to close and rehabilitate more than 20 waste sites across the country. This being a declaration judgement, Slovenia is not facing sanctions. The Environment and Spatial Planning Ministry said that problems had meanwhile been addressed at 19 waste sites.
