Pokljuka hosting Biathlon World Cup season opener

Pokljuka, 2 December - The new season of the Biathlon World Cup will start on Sunday at Slovenia's Pokljuka with a mixed pairs and a mixed relay event, with another five events hosted by the plateau west of Lake Bled following between 5 and 9 December. Slovenia's main hopeful will be Jakov Fak, an Olympic silver medallist and two-time world champion.
