Criminal complaints filed in Maribor loan extortion scandal

Ljubljana/Maribor, 29 November - The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has filed criminal complaints against 11 suspects, one of whom unidentified, after an investigation into a bank loans extortion scheme. According to the newspaper Večer, one of the extorted businessmen who chose to hire a detective and wear a wire was crucial in bringing down the network.
