The centre, backed by the Slovenian Tourism Board, thus continues with the marketing of Slovenia's idyllic and picturesque scenery which is being coupled with a 25% refund incentive for foreign productions.

"This is a continuation of successful cooperation after we already presented Slovenia as a shooting locations destination at the Cannes festival this year," the SFC wrote as the two-day fair got under way today.

Slovenia's key qualities being highlighted in the campaign include well preserved historical sites and scenery, a large number of quickly accessible picturesque locations, and the fact that it is possible to shoot in the mountains and on the coast within a single days.

Producers from Great Britain, Korea, Ireland and Italy have shot in Slovenia in the last two years.
