Dnevnik says CDU does not need new Merkel

Ljubljana, 8 December - Annegret Kramp - Karrenbauer was elected the new leader of the German ruling CDU party by a breadth of hair, which shows the party is divided on Chancellor Angela Merkel as well as on what kind of policy will help the party overcome the challenges in the domestic and European political arena, the newspaper Dnevnik says on Saturday.
