EU Commission extends Slovenia's tonnage taxation system
Brussels, 10 December - The European Commission approved on Monday a ten-year extension of the Slovenian tonnage taxation system,
under which shipping companies are allowed to pay an alternative form of corporate tax. After this year's failed attempt to change the legislation in this area, the government announced changes by the end of 2019.
