Amount of food waste dropped last year
Ljubljana, 11 December - Slovenians threw away 64 kilograms of food per capita in 2017, which is 4% less than in 2016. This is the first drop in the amount of food thrown away since 2013. Nevertheless, as much as 38% of food waste was still eatable, data from the Statistics Office show.
