Committee rejects proposal for referendum on UN migration deal

Ljubljana, 12 December - The parliamentary Foreign Policy Committee rejected on Wednesday a proposal by the opposition Democrats (SDS) to hold a referendum to consult Slovenian voters on the UN-sponsored global migration agreement. Slovenia joined the agreement as it was adopted in Marrakesh, Morocco, on Monday.
