Slovenia marks the 40th anniversary of gas distribution and not 40 years since the first gasworks was launched in the country as incorrectly stated in the STA report. The corrected copy follows.

Ljubljana, 20 December - Slovenia is marking the 40th anniversary of gas distribution with the first gasworks in the country launched in Ljubljana in 1861. While initially helping bring light to the city's streets, stores and houses, natural gas continued gaining in prominence in Slovenia to become in 2017 the second most important energy source for domestic heating.
