Govt planning to take out EUR 2.1bn in loans in 2019

Ljubljana, 20 December - A budget financing programme adopted by government today envisages Slovenia taking out EUR 2.1bn in loans in 2019. With EUR 3bn worth of principal planned to be repaid this year, the state budget debt would still be reduced by EUR 826m to EUR 28.3bn or by 5.4 percentage points to 58.4% of GDP, the Finance Ministry has calculated.
