Government budget surplus increases to 0.8% of GDP in Q3

Ljubljana, 28 December - Slovenia's general government budget surplus rose to EUR 259m or 0.8% GDP after the first nine months of 2018, with revenue exceeding spending for the sixth quarter in a row. Public debt was down marginally but as a percentage of GDP it decreased by about 7 points year-on-year, shows data released by the Statistics Office on Friday.
