Slovenia's food safety system seen as exemplary

Brussels, 15 January - The European Court of Auditors has highlighted Slovenia as an example of best practice food safety. A study conducted in the Netherlands, Italy and Slovenia has shown that Slovenia is the only country where food is tested not only for the contents of pesticides and veterinary medicines but also for additives and aromas.
