Clean-up starts of abandoned boats in St Jernej Channel
Seča, 15 January - Over a dozen boats, many half-sunken and abandoned, have for years marred the appearance of the picturesque St Jernej Channel, the main entry to the Sečovlje Salina Nature Park near Portorož. On Tuesday, machines were finally brought in to remove the wrecks, 15 years after the clean-up was first promised.
