Delo comments on MEP vote to punish rule of law flaws

Ljubljana, 19 January - The majority in the European Parliament has recently voted for the EU to financially punish those members which violate the rule of law, Delo says on Saturday. It however wonders why all five Slovenian MEPs from the right-leaning European People's Party (EPP) voted against, whereas the majority of EPP MEPs voted in favour.
