Govt confirms supplementary budget for 2019, surplus at 0.4% of GDP

Ljubljana, 24 January - The government adopted on Thursday a supplementary budget for 2019 as it translated significantly higher revenue into spending hikes to placate public sector unions and several sectors that have long complained of funding shortages. Despite the higher outlays, a surplus equalling 0.4% of GDP is planned.
