Over EUR 300,000 paid due to poor prison conditions

Ljubljana, 13 February - Struggling with prison overcrowding, Slovenia paid some 300,000 euro in damages due to inadequate material prison and detention conditions on the basis of cases brought before the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) and before domestic courts in 2012-2018.
