Supreme Court quashes guilty ruling in child abuse case
Ljubljana, 21 February - The Supreme Court has quashed a 2018 ruling of the Ljubljana Higher Court that found a former priest guilty of sexual abuse of a child, newspapers Delo and Slovenske Novice report on Thursday. By overturning the District Court's ruling without holding a hearing, the Higher Court violated the principles of direct applicability and non-contradiction.
