Carnival merrymaking sweeps Slovenia
Ljubljana, 28 February - Shrovetide pranks and traditional carnival events and processions will take place around Slovenia until next Tuesday, when the carnival season ends with a bang and burial. Among the most popular ones are the Kurentovanje carnival in Ptuj (NE) and the carnival events in the Cerkljansko region.
