First Slovenian female pedestrian crossing light installed in Kranj
Kranj, 7 March - Kranj will install a special crossing light depicting female figures on 8 March, International Women's Day, marking the first time male pedestrian figures are replaced with female ones in Slovenia.

The crossing light will be installed in front of the Kranj Gynaecology and Obstetrics Hospital.
Despite women's numerous efforts to achieve gender equality, male figures are still predominant in a lot of cases, said the city council, adding that the same applies to crossing lights.
