Austrian court acquits Slovenian minority member in bilingual sign campaign

Eisenkappel, 7 March - Bilingual place name signs remain a point of contention in some parts of Carinthia, the home of most of the Slovenian minority in Austria. On Thursday, a district court acquitted a member of the community of vandalism after he applied stickers spelling out the Slovenian name to the place sign of his home village.
