Šarec says govt endorsed Guaido because Venezuela needs new election

Ljubljana, 8 March - Prime Minister Marjan Šarec defended the government's decision to recognise Juan Guaido as Venezuela's interim president in an interview for the weekly Mladina, repeating the aim was to see a new election called in the country. "Venezuela is on the verge of collapse, life there is not pleasant," he said.
