Human Rights Ombudsman and govt advocate women's empowerment
Ljubljana, 8 March - Marking International Women's Day, Human Rights Ombudsman Peter Svetina called for social reforms regarding gender equality and stressed that any kind of violence against women was unacceptable. Government representatives pointed out there was still room for improvement.
