Miro Prek fails to get re-appointed to EU's General Court
Ljubljana, 8 March - Miro Prek failed to muster sufficient majority in parliament on Friday to get re-appointed as one of Slovenia's two judges at the General Court of the EU, falling seven votes short of the required outright majority of 46 votes. Meanwhile, fellow candidate Marko Pavliha was endorsed by 55 votes.
