Slovenian birth rate slightly above the EU average

Brussels, 12 March - The Slovenian fertility rate in 2017 was 1.62 children per woman, which is a bit higher than the EU's average rate (1.59). The data released by Eurostat on Tuesday indicate that the Slovenian rate slightly increased in 2017 compared to the year before (1.58), while the rate for the entire EU slightly decreased.
