Former FM says NATO only serious defence of EU

Ljubljana, 17 March - Slovenia could not have survived as an independent and decent country without NATO, former Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel has told the STA ahead of the 15th anniversary of Slovenia's NATO membership. He believes NATO is Europe's only serious defence and that Europe is more to blame for the current Transatlantic tensions than the US.
