Slovenia will not pay compensation to heirs of Attems estates
Ljubljana, 22 March - Slovenia will not be paying compensation to the heirs of the Attems family, nobility whose property was nationalised after WWII, after their appeal has been rejected by the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). Although much of the land is already back in the hands of the three heirs, they were unable to get back two estates in Dolenjska.
