Initiative to lower drink driving limit dividing the public

Ljubljana, 25 April - A proposal by the Slovenian Traffic Safety Agency (AVP) to lower the drink driving limit in a bid to reduce the death toll on roads has met with a mixed response. After being endorsed by a number of NGOs, who urged the authorities to gradually adopt a zero-tolerance policy, pub and restaurant owners have come out strongly against the proposal.
