Parties divided on Spitzenkandidat concept
Ljubljana, 7 May - The parties or lists standing in the 26 May EU election have very different views on the Spitzenkandidat concept, with some finding it undemocratic and some feeling it secures more transparency in the formation of the European Commission. Opinions are also divided on how Slovenia should choose its commissioner.
