A year on, GDPR pushes up requests for personal data abuse inspections

Ljubljana, 24 May - Since the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) took effect across the EU a year ago, the Slovenian Information Commissioner Office has detected an increase in the number of requests for inspections into personal data use. Information Commissioner Mojca Prelesnik believes this to be an indication that the public knows the GDPR quite well.
