The Left empty-handed and disappointed, ex-ruling SMC plummets

Ljubljana, 27 May - With Slovenia's eight seats in the European Parliament getting distributed among only four parties or lists in Sunday's vote, many large parties ended up empty-handed. These include three coalition parties as well as the Left, which had been harbouring high hopes ahead of today's vote.
