With its new service Nomago Intercity the company wants to link cities in Germany, Austria, Italy, Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia and Slovenia, Nomago said in a statement.

"If in founding Nomago our goal was to become a leading mobility provider between Venice and Dubrovnik, we are now targeting the entire European market," Marjan Beltram, Nomago executive director for tourism and mobility services was quoted as saying.

The company generates half of its revenue from tourism and new mobility services, which share it would like to increase in the coming years.

"As a next step we plan to enter other European markets as well by means of innovative mobile services and diverse modes of transportation," Beltram said.

Nomago Intercity provides extra fast and above-standard links to passengers from Ljubljana, Maribor, Bled and Nova Gorica, in response to the customers' desire for direct links with Zagreb, Vienna and Munich.

Coaches running on Nomago Intercity lines will be equipped with the latest technology which will allow passengers to locate the position of their transfer at any moment. Tickets will be available online.

Nomago carried just over half a million passengers in 2017.
