Pope John Paul II. appointed Dr. France Rode new archbishop of Ljubljana, who is presently holding a post of secretary of papal council for culture. The nomination was announced Wednesday at the news conference by Apostolic Nuncio to Slovenia Dr. Edmond Farhat.
