Anniversary of reconciliation gesture remembered

Ljubljana, 14 June - President Borut Pahor hosted a reception Friday to mark the 30th anniversary of the planting of a linden tree at Žale cemetery in Ljubljana, at the time seen as a major step in efforts to reconcile divisions over the Second World War and its aftermath.
