N-plant safety upgrade more than half-way complete

Krško, 14 July - Following the Fukushima nuclear disaster in 2011, Slovenia's only nuclear power plant, NEK in the southeastern town of Krško, launched an extensive upgrade of its safety systems. Expected to complete in 2021, the project is just over half-way through.
