Ahead of Jumping Season Close in Planica

Slovenia's best-known ski-jump Planica will host the best ski-jumpers in the world from 20 through 23 March. The organizers are currently completing the last preparations at the giant ski-jump (K = 185 meters), pledging the event that will close the 1996/1997 season will not be cancelled. In the 60-year history of the giant sky-jump, sky-flights were cancelled on only one occassion.
