Government Submitted Proposal to Amend Bill on Government

Ljubljana, 13 March - GOVERNMENT/DZ/BILL/AMENDMENT
Slovenia's government submitted Wednesday to the National Assembly (DZ) a proposal to amend the bill on government according to which small business and tourism would not be under the Ministry of Economic Affairs' jurisdiction but a separate ministry would be formed. Moreover, the proposal foresees that the legislatures should add a decree on ministers without portfolio to the bill on government which would not limit a number of ministers without portfolio any more. The National Assembly is to discuss these amendments as early as at one of its sessions in March.
