Slovenia-EU Joint Committee to Meet Next Week for the First Time

Ljubljana, 13 March - At its Thursday session, the Slovene government adopted a platform for a delegation which is to participate in the first meeting of the joint committee on the implementation of pre-joining strategy between Slovenia and the European Union (EU). The meeting, to be held next week in Ljubljana, is the first formal meeting based on the associate agreement between Slovenia and the EU which will be attended also by EU officials and that will focus on a complete review of the cooperation between Slovenia and the EU, Benjamin Lukman, Head of the Office for European Affairs at the Foreign Ministry, told the news conference after the session.
