Speaker of Italian Chamber of Deputies Winding up Visit to Slovenia

Brnik, 14 March - Slovene Speaker Janez Podobnik and Speaker of Italian Chamber of Deputies Luciano Violante gave a news conference at the Brnik airport before Violante's leaving Slovenia, assessing the talks as very successful. Podobnik pointed out the talks "symbolize a progress in relations between both countries" and proved that Italy and Slovenia had established good neighbourly relations, particularly because, added Violante, this was the first meeting of this kind, that is on the parliamentary level.
